Dr David Kitchen
Dr David Kitchen is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement, revision joint replacement, and lower limb sports injuries, including ACL and meniscal injuries.
Having begun his medical journey at Cambridge University, Dr Kitchen continued his training in South Australia and the Northern Territory, before completing subspecialty fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, the UK's foremost orthopaedic institution, where he gained experience in complex joint surgery and joint preservation surgery.
In addition to his private practice, Dr Kitchen holds public appointments at the Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. He serves as Adelaide University’s Musculoskeletal Lead within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network and an AOA Training Registrar Supervisor, dedicated to training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.
Dr David Kitchen combines worldclass international and local surgical training with advanced technology to support patient outcomes in Adelaide. He focuses on individual goals and high-precision techniques to provide a dedicated standard of care for every hip and knee procedure.
